It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Bjornstad (Cando, North Dakota), who passed away on March 31, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dagfin Olsen and Petra Olsen (Pedersen); her daughter Judith Johnson; her great grandchild Brynlee; and her siblings, Annie, Bernice, Dagny, Gladys, Inga, Olga, Anton, Art, Don, Otto, Pete and Walter.

She is survived by : her child Rollie Bjornstad (Michelene) of Cando, ND; her siblings-in-law, Gertie Olsen of Willow City, ND, Jessie Olsen, Dorothy Bjornstad of Cando, ND, Pete Bjornstad (Joyce) of Cando, ND and Ray Reid of Chinook, MT; and her spouse Bjorn Bjornstad. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
