She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton O'Hara and Hulda O'Hara (Greening); her husband Jim Johnston; her brothers, Bobby O'Hara and Dennis O'Hara; and her brothers-in-law, Rodney Keena and George McDonald.
She is survived by: her sisters, Shirley Ann Keena of Midland, TX, Mary Jane Johnson (Don) and Judy McDonald; her sister-in-law Bonnie Deraas (Duane) of Cavalier, ND; and her siblings' children, Debbie Wilkerson (Doug), Rick Keena (Susie) of Midland, TX, Tracee Johnson of Cavalier, ND, Brian Johnson of Minot, ND, Candis Longtin (Mike) of Devils Lake, ND, George Jr. McDonald (Jamie) of Reiles Acres, ND, Christopher O'Hara (Julia) of Grafton, ND, Alisha Morrison (Darin) of Big Lake, MN and Alexander Deraas of Fargo, ND.. She is also survived by 16 great nieces and nephews and 7 great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Askew Funeral Home (209 Elizabeth St W, Cavalier, ND 58220). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hamilton Cemetery.
