She was predeceased by : her parents, Isadore Bushaw and Agnes Bushaw (Allen); her former life partner Joe; her brother Ralph; and her granddaughters, Megan and Annie.

She is survived by : her husband Joseph Salwei; her children, Joseph A. Salwei (Debbie), Thief, Daniel Salwei, Angela Blomquist (Danny), Mark Salwei (JoAnn), Loren Salwei (Karen), Crystal, Pamela Troftgruben (Greg), Heidi Salwei and Stan Salwei (Rachel); her grandchildren, Melanie (Dirk), Sam, Jacklene (Josh), Brent, Paige, Madison, Ryan and Gina; her stepgrandchildren, Brent (Brenda), Riley, Dan, Rachel (John) and Ryan (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Ava and Abigail; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Blake, Laura, Katelyn, Emma, Adam, Evan, Zachary, Vanessa, Graham and Violet. She is also survived by 8 children.

Due to covid restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2 p. m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Crystal, ND.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Crystal St. Patrick's Catholic Church Building Fund or Cemetery Fund, Crystal Fire Department and First Responders, Pembina County Memorial Hospital Foundation, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
