He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Halvorson and Joyce Halvorson (Wooten); and his wife Tina Halvorson (Knigge). He is survived by: his daughter Kristie Joyce (Jerome); his grandchildren, Courtney Ruppert, Denver Ruppert, Kaylee Joyce and Zakkary Joyce; his son Chad Halvorson (Megan); his grandchildren, Joclynn and Kenadee; his son Nathan Halvorson (Christy); his granddaughter Raeanne Halvorson; and his siblings, Steve Halvorson (Londa) of Dickinson and Pam Walter of Williston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
