He was predeceased by : his parents, Mike Grinsteinner and Agolena Grinsteinner (Bleile); and his wife Bernice Fisher. He is survived by : his children, Hank, Alan (Kay), S. D., Gregg (Carol), Bruce, Mary Jo Kinstler (Kort), Cheyenne, Wyo and DeAnn Scheeler (Jared). He is also survived by five sisters; two brothers; three sisters-in-law; 16 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Trinity Catholic Schools or the Veteran's Drill Team.
