He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stroklund and Ida Stroklund; his brother Donald; his uncle Nels; and his aunt Mable Olson.
He is survived by: his friend Helen Louisa (Torka); his wife Helen; his children, Becky Herrera (Javier) and Roger Stroklund (Jenna); his grandchildren, Ely Sellin, Amanda Sellin, Elizabeth River Stroklund and Rory Stroklund; and his brothers, Allen (Jodi), Dale of Lacey, WA, James M. (Laurel), Tim (Karen) and John G. (Anne). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles and aunts.
In lieu of memorials to the family, donations can be made to the Nation Rifle Association.
