He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard and Bertha; and his brothers, Kenneth, Myron, Mike, David and Dennis.
He is survived by : his children, Douglas Jr. (Deborah), Darrell Jr. (Luella), Craig Jr. (Nancy), James Jr. (Char) and Roxann Haag (Jim) of Fairfield, ND.; his wife Lorraine; and his siblings, Richard of Bowman, ND, Connie Ness of Bismarck, ND, Betty Gruenberg of Hawley, MN, Bunny Malm of Bismarck, ND and Sharron Wolf of Detroit Lakes, MN.. He is also survived by his wife; children; grandchildren; great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a Memorial has been established to the Little Lambs Learning Center, P.O. Box 156, Mandan, ND 58554.
