He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda Schwarz (Ude) and Martin Sr. Schwarz; his siblings, Lydia Hochhalter, Albert and Herbert; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Hochhalter and Ray Maas.
He is survived by: his wife Evie Schwarz; his children, Valerie Bergerson (Matthew) of Lakeville, MN, Nathan Schwarz (Stacy) of Kindred, ND and Clinton Schwarz (Kimberly) of Mason City, IA.; his grandsons, Andrew, Ian, Evan, Alex Bergerson, Elijah, Isaac Schwarz, Zechariah, Daniel and Samuel Schwarz; his great grandchild Phoenix Alvin Tysdal; his siblings, Elmer (Arlene), Wilmer (Lois), Leo (Joann), Martin Jr. (Susan) and Frieda Maas; and his sisters-in-law, LaRue Schwarz, Sharon Schwarz and Vera Glur.
Due to Covid concerns, the service will be a private family funeral at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garrison, ND on Saturday October 23, 2021 at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Camp of the Cross, Garrison, ND; to Alzheimer's Association at http://www.alz.org; or to your favorite charity.
