She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Sutherland and Elwyne Sutherland (Dyer); and her siblings, Clark, Ken Sutherland and Laura Sutherland.

She is survived by: her husband Delmer "Tinker" Hvezda Jr.; her daughter Laken Spaeth; her nephew Shayne; and her uncle Kent Dyer (Mary).
