She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Arthur Rasmussen; and her daughter Donna Snyder (Kirschenmann). She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Strickland (Rob) of Charlottesville, VA and Marietta Bettermann (Brian); her grandchildren, Amanda (Megan Hines), Matthew Kirschenmann (April Gobeil), Katie Hatfield (Andrew), Okinawa, Jessa Kirschenmann and Emma Snyder; and her great grandchildren, Hope, Timothy Hatfield and Okinawa.
Donations in her honor maybe be made to the American Cancer Society, or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
