He is survived by: his wife Cathy Krogstad of Fargo; his daughter Kelsey Nicklay of Moorhead, MN; his granddaughters, Nora and Anja Nicklay of Moorhead; his stepchildren, Carl Gilbertson of Barnesville and Toni Chase (Justin) of Oconomowoc, WI; his granddaughter Ryleigh Chase of Madison, WI; his siblings, Jim Krogstad (Kim) of Ada, Minnesota, Gayle Solum (Kevin) of Barnesville, MN and Debra Syverson (Rod) of Ada, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Rick Syverson, Kim Myers, Bryan Syverson, Jim Solum, K. C. Solum, Heather Brommenschenkel, Kristen Poehler and Lauren Zima.
