He was predeceased by: his brother Duane Klatt; his nephew Kermin Vangerud Jr.; his siblings, Kelsey Klatt Jr. and Karen Sorenson; his brother-in-law Kermin Vangerud Sr.; and his brother Gerald Ringer.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kevin Klatt of Fargo and Kathy Klatt of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
