He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kjos and Sophie Kjos (Thales); his wife Marlys Rasmusson of Ada, MN.; his stepmother Ruth Kjos (Evenson); his sister Ann; his brother-in-law Warren Dehnart; his brother Herbert Kjos; his son-in-law Ron Lusk; and his great grandchild Alexander Diaz.
He is survived by: his sister Shirley Twaddle (Rick) of Winona, MN; his sister-in-law Mary Kjos of Destin, FL; and his daughters, Roni Riske (James) of Forest River, ND, Sherry Lusk (late Ron) of Harwood, ND, Rebecca Williams (Keith) of Mayville, ND, Shawn Reedyk (Gary) of Groveland, FL and Marla Diaz (Hector) of New Braunfels, TX. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, Gene's greatest joy was his wife, his five girls, and visits from his grandchildren.
