He was predeceased by: his parents, Lance Smith and Florence Smith of Langdon, ND.. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Smith (Marge); his brother Don Smith (Luella) of Great Falls, MT; and his children, Cindy Abbott (Gary) of Austin, TX, Mike Smith (Julie) and Brian Smith (Candi). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
