He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Kapfer and Lois Kapfer (Loose); his stepmother Phyllis; and his brother Michael Kapfer. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Judd; his daughters, Kristine Reineke (Jamison) of Fargo, ND and Michelle Baumer (Joshua) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Rebecca Reineke, Vanessa Reineke, Karina Reineke, Matthew Baumer, Markus Baumer, MaryAnn Baumer and Madeline Baumer; and his close friends, Robert and Cathy Grabinger.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
