She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Nelson and Grayce Nelson (Dougherty); and her siblings, Beth, Mary, Margaret and Mike.
She is survived by: her husband Jay; her daughters, Alison Gerwood (Dan), Emily Schultz (Nathan), Eve Schleicher (Nathan) and Jane Karczeuski (Mickey); her grandchildren, Liam, Ethan Gerwood, Eloise, Bethie, June Schultz, Vera and Celia Schleicher; and her siblings, Pat Nelson, Peter Nelson (Ellen Dona) and Abby Rheault (Tony). She is also survived by brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of monetary donations Kim specifically asked friends, family, and well wishers to please consider donating to a mental health organization or the Arthritis Foundation.
