He was predeceased by: his father Earl Sorby (Fargo); his grandparents, Elmer and Crystal Dewerff (Casselton); and his uncles, Stan Dewerff (Moorhead) and Curtis Dewerff (SD).
He is survived by: his mother Emmy Burke (Fargo); his son Michael; his wife Danielle Burke; his son Ashton Burke (Fargo); his siblings, Eric Sorby (Fargo), Rona Sorby (Moorhead) and Amanda Burke (Fargo); his nieces and nephews, LaKeshia, Mariah, Emma, Brooklyn, Alex, Michael, Blake and Aksel; his close friend Charity Teegarden; and also, Makayla and Caylin Teegarden (Fargo).
