She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Vasek and Mary Vasek (Pribula); her husband Stan Smedsrud; her children, Lon Smedsurd (Roxanne), Leanne Pladson Fargo (David) and Jodi Baer Fargo; her grandchildren, Cody Smedsrud (Megan), Chelsey Haukous Fargo and Cole Smedsrud Fargo; her great grandchild Sawyer Haukous; her son Lee; her sister Adeline Klitzke; and her sisters-in-law, Veronica Vasek and Arlene Smedsrud.
The family requests in lieu of flowers and memorials contributions be sent to Lorraine's favorite charity North Dakota Cystic Fibrosis Bismarck Chapter.
