It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlys Arleen Hofstrand (Fargo, North Dakota), who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Camrud and Alma Camrud (Luidahl); her former husband Marvin Hofstrand of Brinsmade; her son Eric Hofstrand; her brother Ivan Camrud; and her siblings-in-law, Jo Camrud, Lawrence Bjornstad, Art Knudtson, Don Thompson and Carol Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Hofstrand (Sue Colebank) of DeLand, FL and Connie Catron (Steve) of Clovis, CA; her daughter-in-law Nancy Hofstrand (Stenhjem); her grandson Carl Catron (Nozly Hosseini) of Fresno, CA; her siblings, James Camrud (Carole) of Mesa, AZ, Marian Bjornstad of Stockton, CA, Dorothy Knudtson, Billings and Florence Knutson (Phillip); and her great grandchildren, Alexa, Cambria and Cole. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Olivet Lutheran Church or Sons of Norway.
