She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Anderson and A. Peter Anderson; her husband Leslie; her brother Maynard (Dora); and her siblings-in-law, Victor Hilde, Irene and Kaye Hilde.
She is survived by: her children, Steven, Patricia Hilde, Susan Hilde, Bob Hilde and Steve Hilde (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Kevin, Brian Bruce, Andrew, Alex Hilde and Julie Bruce; her great grandchildren, Carter and Connor Bruce; her brothers-in-law, David Hilde (Lori) and Donald Hilde; and her nieces and nephews, Mark Hilde (Catherine), Gary Anderson (Arlene), David Anderson (Jolene), Sandy Kopp (Jeff) and Lisa Howard (Wayne).
Following all Covid-19 safety protocols, social distancing will be practiced, and all must wear a mask to participate.
Merna's family has requested memorials be made to Bethany on University or Rollag Lutheran Church.
