He is survived by: his wife Diane of Fargo, ND; his children, Dottie Schuchard (Brian) of Fargo, ND, Kimberly Scherer, Monty Scherer Jr. (Mae Loni) and Shawn Scherer; his grandchildren, Amber Schuchard, Tyler Schuchard, Madison Pinfold, Mason Lyles, Treyton Lyles, Dillon Scherer and Shawn Scherer Jr.; his great grandchildren, Karmen, Cullen, Ravenna and Radke; and his brothers, Ardis Scherer (Eldora) of Minneapolis, MN, Tim Scherer (Sharon) and David (Cathy). He is also survived by grandchildren and his dogs.
