She was predeceased by: her father Eugene C. Beitelspacher; her siblings, Pamela K. Beitelspacher, Paulette M. Beitelspacher-Johnson and Darrell Beitelspacher; and her grandparents, Ferdenand, Karoline Beitelspacher (Haux), Farrell and Viola M. Maroney (Walker).

She is survived by: her mother Shirley Beitelspacher (Maroney) of Lowry, SD.; her husband Ronald Gaarder; her former spouse Dale Kenagy; her daughter Amanda Gaarder; her grandchildren, George and Alexia Berny; her son Travis Gaarder of Apache Junction, AZ; and her siblings, Charles Beitelspacher (Lesli) of California, Mobile, Dale K. Beitelspacher of Vancouver, WA, Peggy Minnicle (John) of Pierre and Phyliss Beitelspacher of Pierre. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
