With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Hagen of Fargo, North Dakota, born in Portland, North Dakota, who passed away on March 3, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, F. Ebenhard Thykeson and Olga Thykeson (Rud); and her brother Kenneth. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Hagen of Fargo; her children, Peter (Mary Sue) of Prescott Valley, AZ, Mark (Laura) of Thompson and Marcia of Fargo; her grandsons, Nicholas (Dana), Travis (Lindsey), Christoffer, Ian (Chelsa), Joshua and Michael Schlenker (Kristen); her siblings, Truman and Kathryn; her siblings-in-law, Leon Erickson of Warren, MN and Shirley; and also, Peder and Cora. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Ruth was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2008 and she remained active for several years.
