It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Montplaisir of Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Montplaisir and Bertha Montplaisir (Rivard). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Borho of Wales, N. D.; his cousin Gerald Rivard; his son Craig Montplaisir (Pam) of Fargo; his grandchildren, Zach and Carissa Wigginton; his daughter Lynette Sayler (Ken) of Horace; his granddaughter Cassandra Vega (Reece); his daughter Michelle Montplaisir (Jack Parr); his grandchild Chenelle; his son Jeff Montplaisir (Suzie) of Menoken, N. D.; his grandchildren, Caden, Katelyn and Kayleigh; his son Paul Montplaisir (Lisa) of Harwood; his grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Anna and Ella; his sisters, Medrise Johnson, Kathleen Rasmussen and June Thies; and also Myrna.
He even shoveled snow from the sidewalk the day before he was hospitalized for a coronavirus infection.
