He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Engstrom and Thelma Engstrom (Nygaard); his brother Dennis Engstrom; his parents-in-law, Willie and Florence Tande (Mollgaard); and his brother-in-law Curtis Tande.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Tande; his children, Jeff Engstrom (Jodie) of Columbus, ND and Cindy Felthous of Pine River, MN; his grandchildren, Cody Engstrom, Katie Engstrom (Steve Chadrjian), Paige Johnson, Derek Johnson, Megan Felthous (Bryan Syrstad) and Anna Felthous; and his great grandchild Aiden Chadrjian.
