With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Olstad (Galesburg, North Dakota), who passed away on January 1, 2020 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Olstad to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Olstad and Annie Olstad (Haugen) of Galesburg, ND; his sister Marjorie; his siblings-in-law, Gordon Anderson and Elvira Olstad; his son-in-law Dean Swetland; and his former life partner Janice Lovell.

He is survived by : his wife Sherri of Fargo; his children, Tara Olstad of Fargo, Dan Olstad (Korri) of Lake Park, MN and Ross Olstad of Fargo; his grandsons, Jesse Olstad (Brittany) of Virginia and Jace Olstad (Gina) of Florida; his great grandchildren, Journey and Henley; his siblings, John Olstad of Hope, ND and Sandra Kutzer (Barry) of Fargo; and his goddaughters, Sawyer and Sloane Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to family allergies, we request no flowers please.
