With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Halvorson (Galesburg, North Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her father Gary. She is survived by : her husband Gary Halvorson; her children, Jane Halvorson (Deborah Nobliski) of Galesburg, ND, Curtis Halvorson of Galesburg, ND and Laura Floberg (Russell) of Fergus Falls, MN; her grandchildren, Christopher Halvorson (Olivia), Nicholas Floberg and Casie Floberg; her great grandchildren, James Teilman-Halvorson and Haley Teilman-Halvorson; and her sister Barbara Ness (Curtis) of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Elm River Lutheran Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
She fought a courageous battle against Parkinson Disease for 34 years.
