He is survived by : his wife Gisella Hanke (Polly); his children, Alan Hathaway (Terry), Paul Hathaway (Kimberly) of Mobridge, SD, Lydia Moll (Nathan) and Timothy Hathaway (Tammy) of Averill Park, NY; his grandchildren, Nathan Hathaway, Sonja Hathaway, Hannah Hathaway, Kristina Hathaway, Karli Vennes (Denley), David Hathaway (Colleen), Timothy Hathaway, Justus Churco, Mason Churco, Quinn Hathaway and Kaiden Hathaway; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan, Owen, Jack Vennes, Sebastian and Peregrine Hathaway; his siblings, Terry Stensaas, David Hathaway (Wanda), Ruthie Plaggemeyer (Walter) of Big Timber and Timothy Hathaway (Margie) of Billings, MT; and his brother-in-law Peter Hanke of Leola, SD..
