He was predeceased by : his parents, James Morris and Pauline Morris (Bodner); his grandparents, Peter, Ann Bodner, Thomas and Birdie Morris; his brother Myron Morris; his granddaughter Chelsea Kragh; and his great-niece Jennifer Proell.

He is survived by : his former life partner Nancy (Kelly); his wife Jacky of Minot; his children, Pam Schestler (Charlie), Kristofer, Trista, Austin (Shauna), Dylan of Burlington, Tom Morris (Tara), Cade, Faith, James Rodney (JR) of Fargo, Tim Morris (Kristen), Brooklyn, Brayden of Bismarck and Peg Morris of Minot; his stepchild Stu Kragh (Rhonda); and his children, Bret, Quintin of Minot, Lenore Schlichting (Paul), Nick (McKaila), Jacob, Jordan (Whitney), Dusty (Lauren) of Garrison, Jeff Kragh (Jenny), Josh and Jamey of Minot. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and 6 great-grand children.
