She was predeceased by: her parents, Verlin Zahn and Doris Zahn (Steinhous). She is survived by: her husband Steve Stern of Golden Valley; her children, Justin Grenz of Bismarck, Jonathon Grenz (Crystal) of Fingal, ND, Jamie Becker (Robert) of Glyndon, MN and Jenna Rosenbaum (Ed Komrosky) of Fingal, ND; her stepson Trent Wilhelm of Bismarck; her grandchildren, Izabella, Vaeda, Dezirae, Mathew, Alice, Miles Walken, Tifani, Breana, Gage and Axel; her siblings, Carlene Solar (Larry) of Minot, ND, Geri Bommersbach (Steve) of Enderlin, ND and Ed Zahn (Charlotte) of Minot, ND; and her mother-in-law Shirley Stern of Golden Valley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
