He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herman Weidner and Amelia Weidner (Frei); his wife Donna Scott; his daughters, Sheri Berogan (Mat), Trina Lundquist (Gary) and Jamie Hawk (Brad); his grandsons, Cole, Chance, Lane, Deondre, Aiden and Tayvian; his stepson Matthew (Samantha); and his siblings, Bonnie Frederick (Vern), Alvin Weidner (Donna), Sarah, Donald and Danny.
