He was predeceased by : his parents, Fredrick Erdmann and Lena Erdmann (Johannsen); and his siblings, Gordon, Melvin, Dean, Agnes Brakel and Elaine Pfarr.

He is survived by : his spouse Connie Mindt; his daughters, Lori Rieger (Mike) of Aurora, CO and Stacey Overton (Denton) of Kenmare; his grandchildren, Dylan Rieger, Sierra Overton, Taden Overton, Haley Rieger, Kathy Mindt and Marlys Loken (Rodney); and his brother-in-law Skip Mindt (Trish). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
