He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Barsness; his children, Sheri Lynn and Jon Patrick; his stepchild Nich; his wife Kande of Grafton, ND; his children, Sheri Holter (Daniel) of Oslo, MN and Jon Koehmstedt (Sadie) of Grafton, ND; his stepchildren, Shane Burns (Tammy) of Grafton, ND and Nichole Nelson of Ishpeming, MI; his grandchildren, Aaron Vonasek, Allison Vonasek, Grace Holter, Harper Koehmstedt, Kase Koehmstedt, Alison Rutherford (Beau), Logan Burns, Stephanie Burns, Cecelia Burns, Sarah Nelson, Emily Nelson and Callie Nelson; his siblings, Joseph Koehmstedt of Minto, ND, Elizabeth "Betty" Gerszewski of Grand Forks, ND, Francis "Butch" Koehmstedt (Donna) and Beverly Slominski (Gary) of Ardoch, ND; his parents, Francis and Amelia; his brother Peter; and his brother-in-law Edward Gerszewski. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
