He is survived by: his spouses, Claire Kerkvliet and Cheryl Wolfgram; his children, Julie Ernster (Todd) and Michael Tarrell (Tricia); his grandchildren, Allan, Jeremy, Tyler Ernster, Alexander, Aedyn and Ryleigh Tarrell; his brother Charles Tarrell (Joyce); and his sibling's children, Amy Florey (Justin) and John Tarrell (Michelle).
