He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Denault and Adenline Denault (Kittelson); and his brother Allen. He is survived by: his siblings, Leland Denault of Park River, ND, Gerald Denault (Diann), Lynette Trosen (Randy) and Lynelle Shutt (Yon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
