With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Marie Braaten of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on April 3, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Laursen and Gladys Laursen (Spoor); her husband Kenneth Braaten; and her brother Donald Laursen. She is survived by: her children, Betty, Dan Braaten (Carol), David Braaten (Marie), Debbie Conley (Norman), Wichita and Diane Kinney (John); her sister-in-law Elaine Laursen (Donald); her grandchildren, Erick Soltvedt (Sarah), Justin Braaten (Haley Ohms), Alison Braaten, Chad Braaten (Lesley), Kara Barber (Scott), Joseph Leiss and Joshua Leiss; and her great grandchildren, Jake, Jada, Jericka, Colebie, Addy, Michael, Desmond, Kenna, Carly, Quinley, Sophia and Eliza. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the family and will be given to Alzheimer's Association and Hospice of the Red River Valley.
