With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice M. Nielsen of Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Osnabrock, North Dakota, who passed away on January 3, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Flink and Katherine Schultz Labing Flink; her husband Arthur Nielsen; her son-in-law Ray Mutcher; and her siblings, Elizabeth Bessire Elkins, Esther Aamot, Richard Flink, Frederick Flink and Virgil Flink.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Mutcher of Grand Forks, Arlys Slusar (Paul) of Grand Forks and Arthur Nielsen (Diane) of Grand Forks; her grandchildren, Douglas Mutcher (Sheryl), Jason Mutcher, Nicole Svedsen (Steve), Paige Sims (Bryan) and Johannes Nielsen; her great grandchildren, Brandon Mutcher (Mackenzie), Krista Walz (Noah), Peyton Mrazek, Madison Mrazek, Beckett Mrazek and Emmalyn Sims; and her sister Marilyn Paulson.
