It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Delores Ann Dawes of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gustave Nelson and Ruth Nelson (Hunt); her husband Russell; and her brothers, Clarence, Carl and Bill Nelson.

She is survived by : her children, Harvey Dawes of Montgomery, MN, Jennifer Prevett of Nampa, ID, Elizabeth Dawes Kim (Bo) of San Fransico, CA and Clarence Dawes (Wendee) of West Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Jin Yoo, Hayden, Tristan Kim and Tim Goodyear; and her siblings, Dan Nelson (Debbie) of Oak Hurst, CA, Loren Nelson (Beverly) of Prescott Valley, AZ, Linda Denny (Bob) of Naples, ID, Verna Vendella (Richard) of Superior, WI, Esther Seland (Terry) of Fredonia, WI, Mary Lane (Emery) of Live Oak, FL and Martha Stromquist (Ralph) of Oregon, WI. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvest Baptist Church (701 E Front St, Larimore, ND 58251). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
