It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald James Evenson of Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Wahpeton, North Dakota, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Evenson and Bessie Evenson (Snyder); his wife Ida Mae; and his son David Evenson. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Janine Evenson of Long Lake, MN; his sibling's children, Susan Johnson of Omaha, NE, Charlene Ekelund of Casselton, ND, Sherrie Evenson of Linn, OR, Brad Evenson of Arvilla, ND, Vickie Evenson Gonzales of Grand Forks, ND and Pat Tereault of Independence, MO; his wonderful neighbors, Don, Mark, Janelle Lothspeich and Kathy Hjelden; and also, Ida, William Tereault of Shoreview, MN, Kathleen Thalhuber of Mahtomedi, MN, Jason, Dorothy Bohlman, Jordan, Maxine Else, Chuck and Laurie Crummy.
