She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Jerome and Nancy Jerome (Sandberg); her husband Walter "Laddie"; her daughter Jan Stanlake; her great grandchild Andrew Tvrdik-Walker; and her siblings, Leonard, Lavern, Merle "Hona" Jerome, Eleanor Tucker and Ruth Humble.
She is survived by: her children, Jon Kalka of Pembina, ND, Mary Knutson (Craig) of Hudson, WI, Diane Muir (Joel) of Hallock, MN and Jerry Kalka (Lisa) of Cottage Grove, MN; her son-in-law Peyton Stanlake of Parkers Prairie, MN; her grandchildren, Carl, Greta Knutson, Mariah Tvrdik (Scott Walker), Christina Tvrdik, Nicholas Tvrdik (Vicky Townsend), Madison Muir, Kassidy and Colton Kalka; her great grandchildren, Sylvie, Wesley and Gavin; her stepgrandchildren, Chelsey Burt (Bryan), Chase Stanlake and Alexis Stanlake (Wyatt Grondahl); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Harper, Rowan and Vienna; her sister Doris Swanson (Don); and her friend Jan Tweeten.
