It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harriet Omlie (Grand Forks, North Dakota), born in Lankin, North Dakota, who passed away on March 24, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Kratochvil and Nellie Kratochvil (Bosh); her daughter-in-law Debbie Omlie; her sister Loretta McLaughlin; and her siblings-in-law, Viola Vorachek, Harold McLaughlin, Roland Matejcek, Norman, Harry and Lloyd Omlie.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hodny (Charles) of Lankin, ND, Susan Heazlett (Curt) of Lankin, ND and Ken Omlie of Lankin, ND; her grandchildren, Kent Hodny (Jennifer), Kurt Hodny (Cheri), Brandon Hodny (Aimee), Nathan Heazlett (Kristen), Hovi Straus (Mike), Katie Carl (Justin), Keith Omlie (Tracy), Kyle Omlie (Terra Wiese), Kane Omlie (Nichole) and Mackenzie Odden (Trevor); her great grandchildren, Nicole, Jacob, Michael, Matthew Hodny, Stellan Heazlett, Asher, Alex Straus, Bennett Carl, Jordan, Jessen, Kendrix, Harrison Omlie, Liv and Harper Odden; her sisters, Georgia Matejcek of Devils Lake, ND and Pat Hills (Tom) of Moorhead, MN; and her sister-in-law Irene Nicholas of Portland, OR.. She is also survived by her parents, husband.
