He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bakke and Hilda Bakke (Fosse); his parents-in-law, Art and Minda Sasse; his son Randy Bakke (Hawaii); his son-in-law Dick Quax of Pakuranga, NZ; his sister-in-law Cheryl Bakke; and his niece Stephanie Bakke (Salt Lake City).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sasse; his daughters, Roxanne Bakke of Pakuranga, Suzanne Maxwell (Richard) of Soldotna, AK and Sandra Wagner (Wayne) of Fargo; his grandchildren, Serina Calhoun of San Francisco, Dr. Tessa Calhoun (Ben Doughty) of Knoxville, TN, Trent Wagner (Erin) of Arthur, ND, Jacob Quax of Pakuranga, NZ and Theo Quax of Pakuranga; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Iris Doughty, McKenna and Madison Wagner; his brother Curtis Bakke of Mesquite, NV; his nephew Steve Bakke (Cari); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caysie and Courtney; his nephew Scott Bakke; his nephew Cory Bakke; his great-nieces and great-nephews, John Hayes (Adrianna) and Alayna; his niece Sherrie Dee Bakke; and also, Cameron and Cayden.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Calvary Lutheran Church.
