We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2023, at the age of 90, Leona Schwartzenberger of Grand Forks, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franz and Pauline Franz (Graf); her husband Richard Schwartzenberger; her daughter Susan Braun; her granddaughter Haley Braun; her sons-in-law, Robert Reis and Gerald Edwards; and her siblings, Martha, Emma, Edna, Ellena, Albert, Edwin and Aldon.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Reis of Grand Forks, Sheila Edwards of Grand Forks, Sharmaine Stoppler (Darrell) of Bismarck, N. D., Richard Schwartzenberger (Chris) of Grand Forks and Randy Schwartzenberger (Christa) of Bismarck; and her son-in-law Greg Braun of Wahpeton, ND. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Grand Forks, or a charity of your choice.
