It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlys Elaine Jensen of Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Jamestown, North Dakota, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eston Mathias and Margaret Mathias (Berge). She is survived by: her children, Penny Becker (Hank) of Thompson, ND and Rick Jensen (Patti) of Valley, NE; her siblings, Joann Mathias of Brooklyn Park, MN, Judy Bair of Jamestown, ND and Wade Mathias of Rosanky, TX; her grandchildren, Amy Stenehjem (Dwayne), Barbara Johnson, Diane Quern (Michael), Erin Aschenbrenner (Jason), Stacey Jensen and Wade Jensen (Briar); and her former husband Richard Jensen. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews.
