He is survived by: his former wife Jennifer Kully; his daughter Madison Sarah; his wife Laura Skarperud; his daughter Samantha Skarperud; his stepchildren, Kaylynn, Bailey and J. C. Frederes; his brothers, Chad Skarperud (Jessica), Ryan Skarperud (Dania) and Tim Skarperud (Stacey); his mother-in-law Sharon Murray; his stepgrandmother Ann Hanson; his nephews, Alex, Jacob, Zachary and Carson Skarperud; his niece Emma Skarperud; and his aunts and uncles, Tim, Jane Hanson, Liz, Jerry Eggers and Karen Hendrickson.
