He is survived by: his former wife Lois Ann Ganyo; his wife Patricia Jorde of Grand Forks; and his children, Gene Melland of Manvel, ND, Larry Melland of Manvel, ND and Jodi Jorde (Herb Lawonn) of Arvilla, ND. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 Great grandchildren many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
