It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond B. Brokke Sr. of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Targie Brokke and Karen Brokke (Haugen); and his siblings, Thordis Sannes, Carrie Krogstad, Annie Krogstad, Bennie, Olaf, Clifford, Harold, Vernon and Ruben Brokke.
He is survived by: his wife Esther Brokke (Magenau); his sons, Darwin (Donna), Gary (Janice), Lonnie (Mary) and Raymond Jr. (Becky); his siblings, Ione Lautt and Lawrence Brokke; and his grandchildren, Danielle Brokke, Deidra Brokke, Nicholas Brokke (Erin), Cassie Yentes (Jeff), Katy Brokke and Kerri Tripp (Paul). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
