It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert G. Thompson of Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Grafton, North Dakota, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Thompson and Hjordis Thompson (Torstad); and his sister Clara Scott. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Barsness of Grand Forks, ND; his children, Sheri Holter (Dan), Jason Thompson, East and Lisa Turn (Jeff); his grandchildren, Josh, Aaron, Allison, Bryce, Jordis, Peyton, Grace and Cutler; his great grandchild Ayven; and his siblings, Ruth Ratchenski (Walt) of Cavalier, ND, Charlie Thompson (Ann) of Grafton, ND and Arnie Thompson (Connie) of Bradenton, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
