He is survived by: his wife Janet Dekowski (Gadbaw); his children, Wendy Mankie (Dekowski) of Grand Forks and Ryan Dekowski (Doug Ballard) of Seattle, WA; his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Nathan and Jakob Mankie; and his brother Thomas Dekowski (CA).
