He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peterson and Myrtle Peterson (Thompson); and his siblings, Walter, Elvina Allan, Mary Jane Halvorson, Carol Gigstad, Loretta Peterson and Marlys Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Gartner; his son Eugene of Pembina; his siblings, David Peterson (Charlotte) of Longview, WA, Kenneth Peterson (Beverly) of Longview, WA and Karen Crowston (Alan) of Cavalier; Shelia Lureen of Granville. He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends.
